Steven played piano for The After Party on 2-5-10 at The Laurie Beechman Theatre at The West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd Street, NYC. He played for Natalie Weiss (an original Ryan Scott Oliver song), and for Nicole Parker (Been There Done That, from her upcoming Birdland show.

Steven was so proud to music director and provide an on-the-spot arrangement for the "Georgia Thespians," a surprise benefit DVD. The event was supervised by the brilliant Joe Norton of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids. and featured Georgia's own Blake Daniel (From Spring Awakening), Kelvin Dinkins Jr. (Princeton University graduate and Trustee), Aaron Kaplan (Montclair State University), Luke Camp (Marymount Manhattan College). Supervisor Richard LaFleur (American and Music and Dramatic Academy), is from Canada. The amazing Meagan Grund filmed the event.

Steven again will serve as music director for Brandon and His Cohorts. The talented performers include Jennifer Anderson, Deborah Foley, David Rossetti, and Kathleen France. It will be at 4 pm. There will be an interested selection of songs. At Laurie Beechman, NYC.

With lyricist Blake Hackler, Steven has composed a new song called CAPTURE A QUEEN for Kelly Nichols new musical "Ten Reasons I Won't Go Home With You." More details to follow!

With pop composer/lyricist Betsy Hirsch, Steven has written a new song called BRAND NEW ME. It is being commissioned for a new project from Artistic Director Karen Van Houten and her musical BANANA ISLAND. With lyricist Andrew Zachary Cohen, Steven has written the song "ON THE STAGE," as part of a one man show called THE DIARY OF A DANCER. DANCER is written and performed by Wade Dooley and directed by Shane Bland. Steven and Andy got to attend Wade's wonderful performance tongiht at The Bridge Theater at Shetler Studios at 244 W. 54th. Street. In the audience was AMDA graduate Dustin Clodfelter, who was very complimentary ("fun, uptempo and catchy") Click on the title On The Stage to hear the demo version of the song sung by AMDA graduate, Mat Silva.

Steven is the music director for "I'm A Stranger Here Myself," at the Abingdon Theatre at 7 pm

This unique cabaret brings together three young international performers ho all studied Musical Theatre together in NYC.
In this show they are exploring the timeless work of Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht - the german duo who brought us classic songs such as "Mack the Knife", "Alabama Song" and "Surabaya Johnny" and plays and musicals that are unforgettable.
It is a mix of German Cabaret, American Musical Theatre, sex, violence, humor and fun.
There's no "fourth wall" in this show - just a bar, a stage, and three performers who will give you the show of a lifetime!
