Fabulous Productions is a New York-based theater company founded on the principles of Tony Kushner’s “Theater of the Fabulous,” fiercely celebrating: “Irony. Tragic History. Defiance. Gender-fuck. Glitter. Drama.” Rife with subversive and irreverent writing, shocking and awing performances, and a very healthy supply of the trashiest drag, Fabulous Productions’ shows revel in “the grotesque, the carnivalesque,” and of course, anything gorgeous and shiny. Founded by Jim Noonan and developed alongside Associate Producer, Liz Alsina and various artistic mentors and associates during his tenure as Artistic Director of the Yale Cabaret, Fabulous Productions promises to shock its audiences into fabulous fits of laughter and maybe even help one or two them pick up a bit of fashion sense and queer slang along the way.
